Garage door parts for Mississauga come off the van and the shelves at Unit 14, 1495 Bonhill Rd, in the industrial blocks east of Dixie Road: torsion and extension springs, cables, drums, rollers, hinges, bottom seals and retainers, and LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Genie opener parts. Whether a part can be collected at the unit rather than fitted on a call depends on the part; ask on the contact form or at info@protechgarage.ca before driving over.
The parts Mississauga wears out first
Environment Canada's 1991 to 2020 normals for Toronto Pearson give January 31.5 cm of snow and 33.8 mm of rain, with a daily high of -1.2 C and a low of -8.9. Snow and rain in the same month at those temperatures means water at the slab most days and ice on it most mornings, and the bottom seal is what sits in it. Add what the commute brings home: the 401, 403, 410 and QEW are provincial highways, the Ministry of Transportation salts them, and the salt dries on the slab under the door. The seal retainer and the bottom brackets are the first metal it reaches. In Mississauga the bottom seal is a wear part on a schedule, and rubber outlasts PVC in a thaw-and-refreeze winter.
Rollers and hinges are next. Erin Mills and Meadowvale doors from the 1970s have had their rollers changed once or twice already, and a steel roller with a dry bearing is the noise most of those calls are about. The 1980s to 2005 doors of Lisgar and Churchill Meadows are on their first or second spring pair; the spring repair page is where springs are explained, and they are not a collect-and-fit part.
A Garaga section, ordered against the door
Protech is a Garaga dealer, listed in Garaga's dealer directory, and supplies Amarr and Stanley too. A door that has been hit is a parts job rather than a new door when the section is still made, and what answers that is the label on the inside of the end panel: model, colour and date. Photograph it and send it. A section still in production arrives to match; one that is not turns the conversation into a replacement quote, with the old door's hardware kept where it fits.
Commercial parts around the airport
Invest Mississauga counts more than 1,030 logistics businesses in the city, and the unit sits among them in the Northeast Employment Area. Rolling steel slats and bottom bars, sectional dock door panels, track and hardware, and jackshaft operator parts are ordered against the door's make and its cycle count. A dock door part is a receiving-hours question, so say when the dock can be down.
Opener parts by brand
Gear kits, logic boards, trolleys, rails, photo eyes, wall consoles, remotes and keypads for LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Genie. The label on the motor head names the model, and the model names the part. A remote or keypad for an opener that still has its receiver is the one opener part a homeowner fits without help. The opener repair page sorts the rest.
What to send
A photo of the part, the label on the door's end panel, the label on the motor head, and the door's width. Email info@protechgarage.ca or use the contact form, and say whether you want it fitted or collected.

Can I order a single section rather than a whole door?
While the model and colour are still made, yes, and Garaga sections are ordered against the door itself. Send the maker sticker from inside a section along with a photograph of the damage. Once the pattern has been discontinued the section is no longer available, and at that point the choice is a door.
Which parts wear out first in this city?
The ones at the bottom of the door, because the freeze-thaw here works the seal and the slab rather than freezing them solid for a season. Meltwater at the slab by afternoon and ice by morning is what tears a bottom seal out of its retainer, and the bottom rollers and brackets take the same water with road salt in it.
What should I send with an enquiry about a commercial part?
The door size, whether it is sectional or rolling steel, the operator type, and the cycle count the door actually runs. Around the airport the buildings clear customs around the clock, so a part specified against a residential duty is a part that will fail again quickly. High-cycle components exist and are specified to that number rather than to the door size.
