This page describes what this website does with information. It is written from what the site actually contains rather than from a template. The enquiry form and the chat both link here as their privacy policy.

What this site collects

What you choose to send through the enquiry form or the chat, and nothing else. Both are run for Protech Garage Doors by Velogics, the company that built this site, and both load from app.velogics.ai.

The enquiry form

The form is on the contact page and the home page. It asks for your first name and, if you want to give them, your last name, a mobile number, an email address and a description of what you need. You choose whether the reply comes by email or by text message, and you tick a box agreeing to be contacted that way about your enquiry.

Along with what you type, the form records the page you sent it from, the site that linked you there, and any campaign tags in that link, such as the ones an online advert adds. That is how the business can tell which page or advert an enquiry came from.

The chat

A chat button sits in the corner of every page. It opens an AI assistant, not a person. The chat window loads from app.velogics.ai once you use the page or have been on it for a few seconds.

How what you send is used

What you send through the form or the chat is stored, and it is processed by Protech Garage Doors and its service providers, including Velogics and AI services, to respond to you.

Replies, and how to stop them

If you chose email, you can unsubscribe at any time by replying to one of the emails. If you chose text messages, reply STOP to any of them. Your carrier may charge its usual message and data rates.

Questions about your information

To ask what is held from your enquiry or chat, or to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, email info@protechgarage.ca.

Everything else

There is no account, no login and no newsletter. There is no analytics script on any page, and the site sets no cookies of its own. The form and the chat run inside frames from app.velogics.ai, so anything they keep in your browser belongs to that address and not to this site.

What loads from somewhere else

Each of the following is served by a third party, and each is named because your browser contacts it directly.

The enquiry form and the chat, described above, load from Velogics at app.velogics.ai.

A Google map appears on the branch pages and on the contact page. It loads from Google, and Google will know your browser requested it, in the same way it would if you opened a map in a new tab.

A video appears on the home page. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play: until then the still and the play button are served from this site. If you press play, the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com.

Calls and emails

A phone call or an email goes straight to Protech Garage Doors and does not pass through this website.

Changes

Last updated on 14 September 2026, when the enquiry form and the chat were added. This page changes when what the site does changes.
