These terms cover the use of this website. They are not a service agreement: any work Protech Garage Doors carries out is agreed directly with them, and nothing on this site is a contract or a binding quotation.

These pages describe what garage doors and openers do, what commonly fails on them, and what a repair or an installation involves. It is written to be accurate and it is not a substitute for somebody looking at your door. No page here quotes a price, and no figure on this site should be read as one.

Safety

Several pages explain when a garage door should not be operated, and why springs and cables are not a homeowner job. That advice is given in good faith and it is general. A garage door holds enough stored energy to cause serious injury. If you are unsure, do not touch it and call somebody.

Links to other sites

This site links to a door design tool run by Garaga on their own domain, and to Google Maps. Those sites have their own terms and their own privacy practices, and Protech does not control what they do.

Reviews and ratings

Where this site shows a rating and a review count it names the source, gives the date it was read, and links to the profile it came from. It is never rounded and it is never restated as an approximate figure.
